A Message from the Principal

https://www.grahamvaleps.vic.edu.au/uploaded_files/media/hig.jpgWelcome to Term 4 for what is going to be a busy term for us here at Grahamvale.

Term Three ended with the return of our School Concert after three years. It was great seeing our students performing on the ‘big’ stage. This term we are also excited to see our Camps program back after being put on ‘hold’ over the past two years. Our staff and students are very excited about attending these over the term.

At Grahamvale we continue to promote our four core values of respect, teamwork, community and personal best and we strive and aspire to be the best that we can be as we work and learn together. We continue to focus on student learning and offer catch up and extension programs for students. We teach and support each student at their point of need – academically, emotionally and socially.

There will be many opportunities to seek feedback for our school community this term as we prepare for our school review in Term One next year.

Each Tuesday at 2:30pm we welcome our future students to attend our Best Start reading session. Our students are invited to come along with a parent or carer to listen to a story and participate in an activity linked to the book shared. This is part of our transition program and a great way for our future students to become familiar with the school environment.

This term we are excited to partner with our Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Advisor Katie Thorp and artist Mimi Leung to get our garden area back up and happening! This is going to be another great addition and resource for our staff and students to access.

I would like to wish all our students, staff and school community a fantastic Term 4 – and for our Year 6 students to end their primary school journey on a positive note.

We hope you enjoy our new look website. Please contact the school if you have any questions or would like to know more.
